Most popular puppy names of 2013

About a month ago, we posted the most popular kitten names during 2013 according to vetstreet.com. Naturally, everyone has waited on the edge of their seats for the corresponding list of puppy names. Right?

Two of the top names for girl puppies - Bella and Lucy - are also in the top for kittens. Amongst the names for boys, Max and Charlie made the top five in both cats and dogs.

Do you have a dog with any of these names?

  1. Not sure we like lots of those popular names...oh well. Bella was always a big dog name in Germany, so we avoid it here, but know lots of Bellas.

    1. They're not my personal favorites, but that's probably a cultural difference. None of these are good, solid, Swedish names. LOL!!!

  2. My name's not there, Teagan Rose, but my sis Ellie Mae is half there at No 30. I'd have expected to see Milly and Barney, we meet lots of those.

  3. We have to choose a different and cool name for our dog with responsibility. If you want a nice and gentle response from everyone, we must choose a good name for the dog.

    1. I agree. I think - it's okay to laugh at this - that names are closely connected with personality. Also, names affect how the surrounding world sees something or someone. =)
