From time to time my husband will bring out a remote-controlled car. Our gang loves to chase that thing, but there are a couple of downsides: toys break easy, toy cars require a fairly flat and smooth surface, and the range isn't all that good.
The go-go dog pal is a remote control pet toy fitted with a long-range system. According to the manufacturer, the range is up to 350 feet, and the toy can travel up to 22 mph. It can be operated on any surface, and it's made for dogs, so it's durable.
Downsides? Would be the price tag.
I have yet to try one, but SantaPaws might bring one for Christmas. Have you tried one? Did your dogs like it? What do you think of the idea?

Looks like fun! I'm not sure if Kayo would chase it but it'd be fun to try!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure mine would chase it since they love regular remote control cars. It's a bit too expensive for me to just buy one for a whim, but I might get one for them for Christmas, lol. If I do I'll write a review. =)
DeleteOur nephew has one and it scares the fur off me! Maybe if I got used to it, but then I would probably tackle and break it.
ReplyDeleteOh no, you're scared of it? Maybe if it came with peanut butter or something, to make it worth running after? From what I understand they're difficult to break, but I'm also concerned that my dogs would find a way. (My foster dog destroyed two Kongs, and I thought they were indestructible. Has anyone ever heard of a dog chewing up a Kong? LOL!!!)
